The purpose of these group sessions is to share in supportive and
respectful environment the anxieties
and fears that are
natural when you or someone close to you is experiencing eating
distress.
Group
facilitators specialised in eating distress will guide all
participants to an understanding that recovery
from eating distress is
possible for everyone.
These groups are :
support, compassion and mutual understanding

All meetings are free of charge and will be held at the same

on the 1st Monday of the month.

Support Groups
for people with eating distress
These groups play an important
role in recovery from Eating Distress.
In a safe and respectful
environment people with eating distress learn to recognise and
express their thoughts and feelings. Under the guidance of
specialised eating distress therapists they learn about their
courage and they learn to
share their similar experience. They learn to be understood
and to be respected in a
non-judgemental setting.
These groups are a safe
environment for all people with eating distress to
reach out to one and another!
